In May of last year, Bear Den Partners closed the long awaited sale of Burke Mountain, putting an end to an almost decade long receivership. According to Bear Den, they sought after Smuggs as they share a similar family-oriented and community driven mountain experience at their resorts. Skier's at Burke chimed in on the decision, noting a positive outlook on the buyout. Both parties said to continue representing the same skiers they've had for generations in the best ways they know how.
